Two adorable black kitties from different mothers, origins, backgrounds, and even cages have finally united together with joy and snuggles. It is uncanny, isn’t it? Let’s figure out how it starts and see if this is a true and heartwarming story.
Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society received two black kitties who came from separated stray lives. Coincidentally, they ended up staying in the same facility in Salisbury, Massachusetts.
“Jack Daw was a stray from the Swansea, MA area who came to us via a rescue group down there, and Method Man was a stray from the Salem, MA area who came to us via an individual rescuer who does a lot of work in that area.” – Liz, one of the staff in the shelter said.
Two cats even have different personalities. Method Man is an adult cat who loves playing around and being fully active. He doesn’t like to be alone, even though being held is not his cup of tea at all. On the contrary, Jack Daw is more likely to be content, calm, and cuddly. He gives a lot of hugs and headbutts to the staff through the cage.
These two cats were brought in the same room, and they were placed in the cat tower within a month. Little did the staff know, Method Man was kind of a strategic guy, he had been waiting for a chance to befriend Jack Daw. On a fateful day, when one of the staff took out the litter box for Method, the cat suddenly leaped down to the lower level of the condo to stay in Jack’s cage. According to Jack’s loving nature, he immediately started grooming, licking, and snuggling our Method Man. They were separable ever since.
Liz was grateful for both of them, she decided to let Method reside in Jack’s ‘home’ and embrace. Regardless of having a lot of differences, the union becomes more beautiful when it illuminates the phrase ‘opposites attract’. It’s a loving bromance!
Hopefully, there will be some kind-hearted parents who can adopt two of them to the permanent home, because they deserve to be loved and well taken care of. And who said cats are not as affectionate as dogs? Share this article with your friends and family members!
