Unfortunately, news about pet abandonment does not stop happening. On this occasion, another one has recently occurred in Nevada, in the United States. The abandoned animal has turned out to be a cat, which was delivered to the door of a shelter in unfortunate conditions. In fact, initially, it was thought to be a dog. But with proper care, this pet has become a truly beautiful cat.

The facts
The story has been broken through social media and photos posted by staff at Douglas County Animal Care & Services of Nevada. Its dissemination has been mainly due to the fact that the case is quite special and different from other abandonments that are received in this shelter.
Specifically, one morning a carrier was found with a matted ball of hair, which made it difficult to see the abandoned animal. In fact, at first, the staff thought it was a dog. Nothing could be further from the truth.
After managing to open the lid, undo all the tangle of hair and remove the pet, they were able to verify that it was a cat. His condition was not good. In fact, the animal was unable to move because of its long matted hair. In addition, the cat was overweight, which also hindered its mobility.
The staff took care of him and cleaned him, having to remove more than two kilos of hair. The result was surprising because, behind that furry tangle, was a really beautiful cat.
Adoption
And it is that Bob Marley –name with which his caregivers affectionately called him because of his hair-, has found a family with whom he is happy and who take care of him. Something that was not at all complicated because of its great beauty.
In fact, Bob is well cared for in his new home and is losing his excess weight, which will allow him to enjoy positive experiences that he still has to live at ten years of age.
