We maybe know that there are always two sides of the same coin. Concerning pets, some people like cats and the others like dogs. When we talk about the weather, some like hot and the rest like chilly. There are introverts, and there are extroverts. And that’s all that human beings can assume, so we automatically think those are normal.
However, there is one purr-ty that has always been rulebreakers among all. A fridge cat is born for a reason, and it really makes us laugh out loud. Tali, a black and white silly kitty, is a fan of cool places. Specifically, that is the refrigerator of her beloved owner, Christine. The finicky feline chooses to play hide and seek with Christine when she tends to grab her water in the fridge. Little does she knows, her furry daughter is as content as she can be. The cool story really breezes our hearts, as it turns out, many people have encountered this bizarre situation from their cats since the post went viral.

Meet Tali, the viral fridge cat on Imgur, and her beloved mom Christine
Tali’s owner knows her kitty best. She notices that every time she comes to the fridge, there is always Tali who walks alongside. Christine posted Tali’s habit on social media as an honor badge for the unique cat.
“Tali loves the fridge. I don’t know why, but every single time we open it, she bolts for it and jumps in. She crawls into the back of the fridge and nestles in the smallest little corner she can.” – Christine wrote.
Tali went viral because her reaction after being stuck in the fridge was too priceless
As usual, the bond came toward the fridge, but this time, the young semi-clumsy woman did the thing that she had been afraid of. Christine accidentally shut the cat in the fridge, Tali was not found for a while. The cat’s mom called her out, but she didn’t meow at all. Then Christine remembered the last time she had seen the feline was in the kitchen area. To her surprise, Tali didn’t seem to freak out. She was chilling in the back of the fridge while her owners were worried sick about her.
An earthquake can’t move this chilling cattitude!
As Christine emphasized, Tali and the fridge story was short-lived until things got weirder
She, then, posted another status after Tali was quite viral due to her awkward cuteness. Not only did the feline was in love with the fridge, but also she loved playing with splashes. When asked about the origin of the cat, Christine openly shared it with netizens. Tali was born a barn cat, part of her breed is a Maine Coon. For your information, Maine Coon is a water lover! They love to interact with water, especially in a swimming session. According to Christine, Tali one time leaped into the bathtub while she was showering, and the cat surprisingly enjoyed it.
“Tali has always been a water cat. She absolutely loves sitting in the running shower and lounging in dripping sinks, but the fridge was a short-lived funny story.” – Christine said.
“Tali is now a huge and fluffy cat. She couldn’t fit in the fridge very easily, but she really hasn’t tried in years. She’s content lounging in sinks these days, demanding we turn on the faucet for her!” – The owner continued.
“She soaking wet now, and very content!”
These days, Tali has been a sink addict
A cat in the sink is more seen when it comes to the fact that they love enclosed space. A lot of people show their theories about the questionable situation of Tali the fridge kitty. Some people think it is because there must have been some provocative smell from food. Some others say cats are born with constant curiosity, so they love to ‘check-in’ everywhere in the house before getting familiar with it.
However, there was a reasonable comment from FrozenFoodGuy on Imgur. The user explained quite convincingly about Tali’s behavior when she sneaked into the fridge.
“I think for Tali, it’s a cozy, secluded spot. Cats like to hide. Why did this cat choose a fridge as her favorite spot? Possibly because she associates it with a place she normally can’t go, that is forbidden to go to, or where food comes from.”
A flood of comments came in when Christine posted her lovely cat’s situation
