Transition can be something fearful for someone, especially kids when they are aware of going to school. Some children have tendencies to stay home because they feel the utmost security rather than seeing new friends or environments. Eventually, the behavior develops anxiety in children in the most rapid way. Victoria’s child, William Dutton, was afraid of being sent to Maple Tree Lower school, he couldn’t even put the shoes on.

Knowing that his boy had anxiety separation, Victoria brought Milly Moos, a black-and-white domestic cat, to William, hoping something miraculous would wash away his fear. And it did!
By the time Milli Moos the cat sat next to William mellowly, the boy’s behavior was somewhat changing. He was more confident to stand up and walk to school with his mom.
“I could just see the fear drain away.” – Victoria said.
But that is just one of Milly Moos’s honor badges. The cat is very protective and supportive when she is around William. She is also patient enough to walk alongside little William to school every day. And when the clock ticked at 3:30 pm, the cat knew that she had to venture back to school and pick the boy up with Victoria.
“I think Milly enriches our lives, and she’s a really lovely member of the family. She brings us all together, and William loves playing with her. I think she brought William out of himself, given him a lot of confidence and he’s a confident boy now.” – The mom stated.
